un nouveau navire est entrer en service dans leur marine, il a une longueur de 150 metres et affiche un deplacement de 9500 tonnes, il emporte un petit sous marin de poche pour les operation de sauvetage qui peut plongé jusqu'a 500 metres.

il a ete construit par le chantier naval chinois Guangzhou Shipyard International.

Without any fanfare, China has changed the names of its armed forces. Gone are the PLA (Peoples Liberation Army) prefix for the navy (PLAN) and air force (PLAAF). It's now just the Chinese Army, Chinese Navy and Chinese Air Force. Since there was no official announcement, there was no explanation for why the old PLA prefix was dropped. The PLA was the original armed forces, founded in 1927, of the Chinese Communist Party. This force was initially known as the Chinese Red Army. After World War II, the PLA name was formally adopted for all the armed communist armed forces.
For the last two decades, China has been working to modernize its armed forces, and this name change appears to be a minor part of that.

January 28, 2010: The Chinese 15th Airborne Corps (three airborne divisions and an aviation brigade) has, for the last two decades, been the primary airborne infantry force in the Chinese military, and the primary rapid reaction force as well. China has enough air transports (Il-76s, Yu-8s, Yu-7s) to move one of the 11,000 man airborne divisions to anywhere in China within 48 hours. This was demonstrated two years ago, when one division was sent to Sichuan province, to assist in earthquake relief. The first use of this capability was in1988, when a division was moved to Tibet.
The 15th Airborne Corps is now receiving more helicopters, and practicing tactical movements, via helicopter, for airborne brigades. These exercises are becoming more frequent, as more of the 15th Airborne Corps nine paratroops brigades, are trained to undertake these helicopter movements and assaults. These operations would be a major feature of an attempt to take Taiwan by force.
