Van Staade also reveals that Denel recently sold a Seeker II system to an undisclosed client for a classified amount.

He would not be drawn on the location of the buyer, or provide any other details. Known sales include one or more systems to Algeria.

A Seeker system consists of between four and six aircraft, a containerised computerised mission control unit, along with a tracking and communication unit that includes a digital datalink, as well as an aircraft payload, typically a thermal imaging camera and a high-resolution video camera.

The 280-kg Denel Seeker has been in service with the South African Air Force since 1991 and was certificated for use in South African civil airspace in 1994. This allowed SAAF drones to support police operations against illegal immigration, marine and game poaching and the stealing of high-value vehicles. Seekers have been sold to Algeria with one batch including a Saab-Grintek ESM payload.

c'est des drones qui assurent une surveillance du sud ou nos avion (avec pilote)?
Avec un rayon d'action de 250 KM sa ne doit pas être suffisant mais avec une (Tactical Ground Station) le rayon d'action passe à 400 KM.

avons nous déjà frappé avec nos drone?

ces drones ne sont pas armés, concernant la question sur leur utilisation pour la surveillance des frontières sud du pays, je n'ai pas la réponse.
