http://www.defpro.com/news/details/37395/A Beechcraft King Air 350ER, modified with Finmeccanica company SELEX Galileo’s ATOS mission system and sensors, has successfully completed the first set of aeromechanical flights required for European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification. These flights are part of a programme conducted with Corporate Aircraft SA, exclusive distributor of Hawker-Beechcraft aircraft, who are purchasing the aircraft and mission system for an undisclosed end-user.
The King Air 350ER flew with SELEX Galileo’s Gabbiano radar and Airborne Tactical Observation and Surveillance (ATOS) system. The integrated nature of the ATOS allowed a single operator to manage and operate the Gabbiano radar, AIS and electro-optic sensor using the same tactical interface.
“This is another example of the adaptability of our systems and our expertise in platform systems integration” said Gianfranco Terrando, SVP Air Systems, Unmanned Air Systems & Simulators at SELEX Galileo, adding “The inherent adaptability of the ATOS system combined with the range of sensor modes offered by our Gabbiano radar offers a step change in capability for King Air customers who need an answer to complex and challenging ISR requirements.”

Moi je suis prêt à parier que c'est le notre qui sert de plateforme de développement ! Ils ont couvert tous les marquages de l'AAF par des logo de chez eux (la cocarde, ALGERIAN AIR FORCE, matricule ...)

http://www.protoplane.net/The French DGAC has signed the Permit to Fly of the first Beech 350 ATOS developed by Protoplane with BCA (Lyon) and Selex (Torino). One week before, the EASA had approved the Flight Conditions proposed by Protoplane.
The Beech 350 ATOS is a Maritime Patrol aircraft fitted with a 360° radar Gabbiano (from Selex), an MX15i turret (from Wescam), a drop hole (to drop SAR kits and two bubble windows. It is based on a Beech 350 ER, with more than 8 hours patrol capacity.
