Very nice. Even the 32 which is the export version of the 34 is incredibly lethal and even if you start out at 12, the number can only grow from there. I've always loves that "Platypus" billed aircraft with side-by-side seating which makes pilot operating much easier and better. There are also rumors of a toilet in that airplane for long range recon missions but that has never been proven for sure. Even a cot for one pilot to seep a little bit and get some rest. We had this argument on another forum for quite some time but even with the large cabin behind, it was difficult to prove that such a thing existed. Perhaps in a very few of the specialized, Russian models.

The AAF sent an official request for the Su32, though the number of the first batch has not been officially unannounced. Many sources mention a first batch of 12 specialised Su32 to replace our EW and reconnaissance Su24 and Mig25. We need around 36/40 machines, a full squadron, to replace the current Su24mk2 bombers.

We must be careful, I would say that we have something "semi-official" which in fact is almost a confirmation (like 85% confirmed in my personal opinion). The ANP isn't used to officially confirm or publish the deals and contracts. But so far we sill aren't 100% sure that we signed for those little monsters. Time will tell (inchallah)

Fellows, shokran gazeellan that you are discussing this in English! My goodness it helps me out like you can't imagine but please feel free to use your normal French as well since I can understand it for the most part but I don't want you to feel you have to write in English for my sake.

That stinger on the back of all the SU's is crazy! I wonder what the real RCS numbers are on this design. It's such a HUGE airplane with quite a few right angles where radar signals can bounce back very easily, especially where the engines mount to the bottom of the fuselage. That's one of the big issues with the T-50 not to mention heat signature with those HUGE, unprotected nozzles. Also the ducting in the air intakes has major stealth issues but it seems the Russians are not too concerned about stealth as the Americans and Europeans are. Either way, a very deadly jet! I would hate to be on the back of a with pick-up truck with my long beard and 50 Cal machine gun and see one of these coming in for a fast drop and go LMFAO!!!!! See ya!

Comment cela "Officiel"?? Il n'y a jamais rien d'officiel lorsqu'il s'agit d'achats de l'ANP. C'est juste une declaration du constructeur.

Les 2 premiers seront là à la fin de l'année. Il ne faut pas oublier qu'ils avaient prévus de les recevoir en 2015, que le programme de modernisation avait été ploqué, mais l'intervention de ces avions en Syrie a tout changée! Pour le moment, il y aura 12 suivi de 12 et ensuite de 12 qui remplaceront progressivement les SU-24 et seulement 4 à 6 appareils en version spéciale ce qui est vraiment navrant! De nos jours on ne fait pas une force aérienne rien qu'avec des bombardiers, il faut miser sur des appareils de brouillages dediés avec capacité air-air acrue et le minimum syndical dans notre cas c'est d'avoir un escadron de 12 pour pas dire le double.
