Oui effectivement, je n'arrive plus à mettre la main là dessus, mais paraît-il que 2 exemplaires auraient été fournis, un en état de vol, l'autre pour pièces en vue d'évaluation..mais bon s'agit version F16 A....autant dire 50 % des capacités aérodynamiques et surtout avionique d'un Soufa !!!

ca serait une soit disant copie du S300 .......... bref avec tout ces projet ( le plus souvent des maquettes ) moi je m'y retrouve plus la je voit une armée avec des armes de toute origine dont un grand nombre est il faut le dire obsolète et le reste qui est de conception nationale ce qui prouve que la recherche scientifique et technique en Iran est de très bon niveau reste que le potentielle au combat de ces armes locale n'a jamais était clairement démontré .

This airplane was one of two manufactured Il-76MD Adnan II (Baghdad II) which were normal Cargo birds and then was converted into AEW birds. This sample was the only one survived from Persian Gulf I war. It was took refugee in Iran in January of 1991 , just some days after start of operation "Desert Storm". Her sister was lost under coalition forces attacks in Iraq.
