2ème édition de l'exercice maroco-espagnol NAVIMAES après celui de 2006
Ejercicio NAVIMAES con la Real Fuerza Aérea de Marruecos
El Ejército del Aire y la Real Fuerza Aérea de Marruecos han ejecutado conjuntamente, entre los días 8 y 12 de junio, el ejercicio NAVIMAES 2015. Este ejercicio tiene el objetivo de estimular, facilitar y desarrollar la cooperación militar y técnica en el campo de la política de defensa entre los dos países.
El despliegue se llevó a cabo en la Base Aérea de Talavera la Real, donde se acogió a la delegación marroquí al mando del coronel Abdelkoddons Pakhraddine.
El ejercicio comenzó con la llegada de cuatro F-5 procedentes de la Base Aérea de Meknes y continuó con una primera fase de familiarización, que se desarrolló durante el segundo día con vuelos de baja cota. La fase operativa se desarrolló durante el día 11, con ejercicios de combate aéreo simulado.
Durante la estancia de la delegación marroquí se realizaron varias actividades de confraternización, incluyendo visitas culturales a las ciudades de Cáceres y Badajoz

Morocco’s total defense expenditure during the four coming years is expected to be US $22.2billion, says a new study conducted by Strategic Defence Intelligence, a business intelligence platform that provides updated intelligence on the latest developments in the defence industry.
According to the study, the Moroccan defense’s expenditure during the period ranging from 2015 to 2019 will target key areas of investment mainly aircraft MRO, submarine, naval vessels, and surveillance equipment.
The study has also revealed that Moroccan defense expenditure recorded a compound annual growth rate CAGR of 4.59% between 2010 and 2014, and values US$3.8 billion in 2014. It added that the kingdom will allocate US $2.6 billion over the forecast period for homeland security. This would include strengthening the country’s capabilities in the fight against drugs and human trafficking networks as well as confronting the threats of cyber criminality.
